Bark Aid's 50 States Tour with Patrick Lomantini: Day 33 - Brookings, South Dakota

Another amazing fundraiser event for the Brookings Regional Humane Society! Patrick Lomantini takes nearly 3 months away from home and away from his friends and family to travel to all 50 states cutting hair and donating the proceeds to local humane societies. During day 33 of his 50-day, 50-state tour, he visited Dimensions Salon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to cut hair for over 7 hours! 63 people showed up to get their hair cut by Patrick and by his assistant Zachary DiBella of Defining Line Salon in Idaho Falls, Idaho who teamed up with Patrick on this year's tour. HUGE HUGE thank you goes out to Patrick, Zachary, Laura, Tammie and all of the wonderful people who helped raise $2,200 for the Brookings Regional Humane Society! "Paws for Wine" Fundraiser - Winner

As many of you know, I don't offer family photography sessions to the public, but every year I submit a free family photo session to the Brookings Regional Humane Society's "Paws for Wine" event. This year it was won by the most deserving family. Maia is the director of the Brookings Regional Humane Society and literally sacrifices blood, sweat, tears and even many days of her own life in order to care for the animals. She's one of the most dedicated and amazing people I have the pleasure of calling a friend. Her family is absolutely wonderful and I simply adore her two human kids (and of course her house-full of non-human kids too *grin*).
